Smokey is a black bear, employed as an Inventory Manager at Grizzco Industries. Safety regulations be damned, if you want an automatic slosher, you'll get an automatic slosher. Their know-how and risk-taking got them hired at a high rank of management with ease.

In the Fresh Outta Hell Timeline, rather than throw away broken tech, they sell it to Calcutta, at a very worthwhile price. They do not know nor care what purpose she will use these resources for. This makes them the only individual to know her before her attempt at Total Immersion.
