Holdout Mixture

When faced with Kurin, Calcutta's water-based weaponry is powerful enough to stagger her ink, but not erase it. For this purpose, she devises Holdout, Kurin's own ink, heat-dried and crushed into a powder, mixed with sulfur from Suction Bombs, Tenta Missiles, and other self-detonating machinery. The result is a dense, sticky, and debilitatingly dehydrating mixture, which solidifies ink and eats it away, before ending up stuck onto the surface it was shot at, making ink slide right off. It can be physically scraped off, though.

Due to the required ingredients, Holdout can only be produced in low quantities, each vial containing enough for a single high-pressure shot. Its nature means it cannot be diluted either, so low-firerate high-pressure weapons are to be prioritized, like sloshers or chargers.
